Hybrid Medication Aide-68 HOUR

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students are taught the basic knowledge and skills needed to perform medication administration safely and effectively in this hybrid course. This 68 hour program qualifies participants to take the State Registered Medication Aide Exam once the student has completed 48 hours of course work and completed 20 hours of clinical training at an assisted living facility with the instructor. The training will prepare an individual for a position as a Medication Aide. You do need a completed certificate from an nurse aide program or PCA program to take this class.
