Yes, you must be a currently certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in Virginia to enroll in the Medication Aide program. This course builds on the skills you learned in CNA training.
Medication Aides typically earn $2-5 more per hour than CNAs. This can add up to $4,000-$10,000 more per year, meaning your $1,056 investment pays for itself within the first few months.
Pay your $500 deposit at registration to secure your seat, then make payments every 2 weeks once class starts. Full payment is due one week before course completion. We accept payment via QuickBooks invoice, Enrollware, check, or card in our office. No interest is charged on payment plans.
Payments that are even 1 day late incur a $50 late fee. If payment remains outstanding after 2 weeks, you will be removed from the program. Our payment plan is strict because it ensures fairness for all students. Please contact us immediately if you anticipate any issues with your payment schedule.
You'll attend 5 mandatory on-site skills classes plus 21 hours of clinical time. Day classes run 11am-3pm, evening classes run 4pm-8pm. The rest of the coursework is completed online at your own pace.
Yes! Our hybrid format is designed for working CNAs. Complete theory online on your own schedule, then attend just 5 on-site skills sessions and complete 21 clinical hours. Many students continue working while enrolled.
Medication Aides work in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and some hospitals. The certification is especially valuable in long-term care settings where medication administration is a daily need.
$100 of your deposit is a non-refundable processing fee. If you cancel within 3 business days of signing your enrollment agreement, you'll receive a full refund minus the $100 fee. After that, refunds follow our quartile-based refund policy.
