You will receive a Google Classroom invitation to join and complete the pre-course exams. Please ensure you complete your exam within 48 hours to be considered for acceptance into your program of choice.

It is strongly recommended to have a PC, laptop, Mac, or Chromebook to access hybrid and online courses via Google Classroom. A printer is optional but can be helpful.  Smart phones are not recommended!

Nurse Aide/Med Aide Bundle - Hybrid

10 Week Course

Price: $1840 (Additional miscellaneous fees not included)

DEPOSIT: $400 PLUS LAB FEE $375= $775

To benefit from the discounted tuition rate, you must complete the Nurse Aide course and subsequently enroll in the Medication Aide class. Should you decide to drop the Medication Aide class, the Nurse Aide course will return to its full tuition fee.

Detailed instructions regarding requirements are included in the student registration packet, and it is essential to ensure you have received Covid-19 immunizations, shot records required and current TB test results. All students are required to have a background check completed before class starts. AHA BLS Provider CPR  card is required.

Please consult the Nurse Aide class dates for the start of the sessions. To enroll in the Nurse Aide class, you will need to register, and we will then proceed to register you for the Medication Aide class as well.

Patient Care Technician Bundle - Hybrid

21 Week Course

In order to be eligible to sit for the AMCA Patient Care Technician National exam (PCTC), all three modules must be successfully completed.

For those who have completed the Nurse Aide program, you will have the opportunity to take the Virginia State exams for Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).

The Medication Aide course requires a Virginia State License  to practice and costs $650 plus a lab fee of $100. Registration closes one week prior to the class start date, and we reserve the right to change onsite skills days, dates, and times. Please note that Medication Aide students are required to have white scrubs for clinicals and onsite skills classes. A copy of your CNA license or certificate must be on file in the office.




Administrative Medical Assistant - ONLINE (MAC)

4 Month Course(16 weeks)

Description:

(MAC Administrative Medical Assistant) This program is an entry-level medical assisting course that does not include EKG, phlebotomy training, or extensive clinical (back-office) training.

Clinical Medical Assistant (CMAC)

6 Month Course(22 weeks)

Description:

The Clinical Medical Assistant program (CMAC) offers comprehensive training that aligns with the requirements of the MAC class and includes specialized training in EKG and Phlebotomy.

Requirements:

  • Access to a computer (PC, MAC, Chromebook, or laptop) is mandatory for this class. Cell phones are not supported and cannot be used for Google Classroom.  A printer is recommended to print out practice sheets as needed.
  • It is recommended to have up-to-date shot records for Hepatitis B (HepB), Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap), Varicella (Chickenpox), flu vaccines when in season, and COVID-19 immunizations.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • AHA BLS Provider CPR card is mandatory.
  • A background check is required.
  • The course includes onsite mandatory skills classes, and specific dates will be posted.
  • Successful completion of a pre-course exam is necessary for class approval.

32 HR Medication Aide - $360 (Non-Licensed Certificate)

Course Overview:

This 32-hour non-licensed certificate course is designed for individuals interested in working in group homes and psychiatric facilities. Please note that this position is not state-licensed.

  • An AHA BLS Provider CPR card is mandatory, and you'll receive a student discount if you schedule the class with us.
  • This class includes 8 onsite mandatory skills classes, and specific dates will be posted in the classroom. Skills days are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays or Monday/Wed depending on the class.

Online Monitor Tech

6 Week Course

Tuition: $600 (Miscellaneous fees not included)

This class is entirely online and does not require onsite skills training. You will learn to read EKG strips to monitor cardiac rhythm strips and work in the cardiac monitor department.

Requirements:

  • You must have access to a computer (PC, MAC, Chromebook, or laptop) to participate in this class. Cell phones and iPads are not supported for Google Classroom. A printer is strongly recommended to print out practice sheets.
  • Requirement instructions are provided in the student registration packet.
  • High school diploma or GED is required, along with a background check.
  • You will need an AHA BLS Provider card (you will receive a student discount if you take your CPR class with us) to work in any of the local hospitals; an AHA BLS CPR card and shot records (HepB, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, current TB test, and COVID-19 immunizations) will be required to work in the local hospitals. While shot records are not required for the class, it is advised to have them for future employment.
