Do I have to come in person for this course? ▾
No — this course is 100% online. You will never need to visit our office, a clinic, or any classroom. Simply log in from wherever you are and complete the course in one 4-hour session.
How often do I need to take this refresher? ▾
Virginia requires licensed medication aides to complete an annual refresher course to maintain an active license. We recommend registering before your expiration date — don't wait until the last minute.
When will I receive my completion certificate? ▾
Your certificate is emailed to you immediately upon finishing the course — the same day. Save it securely as you'll need it for your Virginia Board of Nursing license renewal.
Can I choose my own start time? ▾
Yes. When you register, let us know your preferred start time and we'll open the class for you on your chosen Monday. Just make sure you have a clear, uninterrupted 4-hour window to complete it in one sitting.
What if none of the Monday dates work for me? ▾
Classes are regularly scheduled every 1st and 3rd Monday. If none of the available dates work, please call (757) 920-5388 and we'll do our best to make a special arrangement for you.
